Security Operations Manager
CurrentAs the Security Operations Manager at Logos Systems, I lead the day-to-day operations of our Security Operations team, ensuring the effective detection, response, and mitigation of security incidents across multiple client organizations. My role focuses on driving security strategy, operational excellence, and strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the security operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage the onboarding, training, and performance of team members to ensure high operational standards.Oversee the identification, investigation, and resolution of security incidents, ensuring timely and effective responses. Escalate issues as necessary to minimize impact and risks to customer organizations.Supervise the deployment, management, and optimization of security tools within client environments, ensuring they effectively support key functions such as Identification, Detection, Protection, Response, and Recovery.Produce comprehensive, business-centric monthly reports for clients, outlining security incidents, trends, initiatives, and key performance metrics.Support client CISOs by providing regular updates on security operations activities, initiatives, and performance metrics. Assist with strategic planning and execution of tactical initiatives.Collaborate with the CISO to manage the security operations budget, including forecasting, procurement, contract management, and resource optimization.Participate in regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize security risks, ensuring a proactive approach to threat management.Oversee procurement of security tools for clients, managing contracts and vendor relationships to ensure the best security solutions are in place.Assist the clients in implementing and improving network security strategies in accordance to the Secure Controls Framework (SCF)
