For the last 16 years, you can say I unofficially held many titles. I have been an Event Coordinator, Budget Planner, Inventory Specialist, High School, and Elementary Homeschool Teacher (4 Years), Student Advisor, Referee, Chauffer, Chef, and Secretary, to name a few. I like to think I have even mastered the art of making coffee. My daily tasks include meeting my clients' demands, such as chicken nuggets, admiring and critiquing artwork, and occasional requests to be a zombie, dragon, or unicorn. Other tasks include scheduling appointments, item location services, and catering services. Although I love my current role, I decided it was time to move on to a different career path. I am enrolled full-time at Collin College, pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Cybersecurity. I plan to continue in the Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity starting in Spring 2023, then hope to continue to an MSL/MLS for Cyber Law/Privacy/National Security. Law and Cybersecurity have always interested me, making my overall career goal along the Governance, Risk, and Compliance track.Current additional studies include ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (Exam Oct 29, 2022), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and CompTIA Security+. It has been an exciting journey so far, and although I don't have experience in the industry, I am anxious to see what my future holds.
