Team juggled 17+ websites and multiple languages. Managed a team of 7: web developers, designers, content & usability specialists and user support staff, both local and off-shore. 50 projects a week, along with day-to-day. 2 website awards. Worked on 2-week sprints and used JIRA Agile, Basalmiq, Trello and Slack. I was named Employee of the Year my first year at Kiwanis and have since produced 4 more EOYs from my team.

Part of mom duo who built an online resource for families and educators to find unique things to do and places to visit with (or without) kids for the purpose of education, inspiration and expanding your knowledge of the world around you. Free-access website let anyone discover field trips, review, rate, and share ideas. Aimed at educators, youth group leaders, daycare providers, parents and families. Included a blog and social media. Although the website no longer exists, the experience was invaluable. The concept has since been turned over to Teachtopia.

Volunteered to start the organization's Midwest chapter serving kids in our region, starting with Indianapolis and expanding statewide. The program asks for, gathers and distributes new pajamas to children in need, such as orphanages, foster care and women's shelters. Started the first ever Pajama Program state newsletter and made the template available to other state chapters. The Indiana chapter distributed more than 5,000 pair of pjs during my tenure, built up a donor list that included several corporations and associations and was featured in print and TV (CBS-affiliate Channel 8). Our local program soon started covering needs throughout several counties in central Indiana and received donations statewide. When I retired the position, 2 other mothers stepped up to take the reigns. I'm proud the Indiana Chapter was one of the first 3 chapters in the United States and is still going strong.

Led offline/online branding efforts for the fundraising and donor affiliate of Riley Hospital for Children. Contributed ad copy, campaign planning, writing. Managed all RCF graphic design, layout, and website. This was a treasured position for me as our mission really drove our creativity every day. This job led me to my future positions continuing work related to children's issues.

Handled 4 city/state tourism magazines/newsletters. Also: events calendar for statewide venues, group tour kits, membership directory, etc. Designed event and campaign elements from small gala invitations to large-scale billboards to digital web ads. Mastered basic website management for indy.org. Assisted with PR and sponsorship sales, including national accounts.

In 2nd half of career here, also assumed role of plant general manager in charge of all production scheduling, HR and finance.
