I am a Gen Z who values work-life balance. Over the past four years, my routine has included studying, freelancing, and enjoying life. To me, college is the ideal time to learn, not just academic knowledge but also how to stand on my own.During my four years in college, I acquired extensive knowledge and expertise in food science, covering topics such as ingredient properties, quality control, nutrition, food processing, food safety, regulations, and entrepreneurship. I participated in several practical activities, including microbiology, processing techniques, chemical analysis, and product development. Among these, product development captivated me the most, and my final research project focused on R&D to create high-fiber gluten-free dry noodles. However, all this knowledge truly came to life when I applied it in the field through internships, freelancing, and part-time work.My internship in the canning industry provided me with hands-on experience in sterilization processes, food canning, and product quality control. As an intern food safety facilitator at BPOM, I gained deeper insights into food regulations, permit documentation such as CPPOB dan SSOP, internal industry audits, and the direct implementation of GMP and food safety measures. I have a strong interest in food regulatory affairs. In addition to my academic pursuits and skill development in line with my major, I also started a freelance career during my college years. Roles such as a live streaming host and a home catering courier not only provided income but also taught me valuable lessons about the professional world and life. These lessons include self-management, time management, maximizing potential, stepping out of my comfort zone, decision-making, teamwork, professionalism, effective communication, and the importance of finish the things that i have started.In conclusion, I am now ready to enter the professional world, equipped with comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in food technology, personal development skills, and some work experience.
