As Senior Designer at Shopit.com in Brentwood, CA, I worked closely with a talented junior design team to overhaul the platform as part of a major redesign initiative. I played a pivotal role in creating comps and designs that aligned with the company’s high-level goals, ensuring a cohesive and modern look for the platform. In addition to developing use cases and wireframe systems, I collaborated with both the marketing and development departments to ensure smooth implementation of the designs. My responsibilities included managing and conceptualizing site character designs and overseeing user flow and overall design concepts. I also led the creation of key site add-ons, such as the Shopit Points System, Shopit SmartBox, and Shopit Pro, enhancing user engagement and retention. As the Lead Designer for the Shopit Facebook Application redesign, I spearheaded efforts to update and improve the app’s functionality and user experience. Despite the company's unfortunate loss of funding, my contributions were instrumental in driving forward the company’s design vision.

As Art Director at PathConnect.com in Los Angeles, I spearheaded the creation, design, and execution of key projects such as Skispace.com and MTDN.com. For Skispace.com, I led the entire process from conceptualization to implementation, resulting in a successful beta launch in December 2007 that garnered over 650,000 page views within the first two weeks. Similarly, I oversaw MTDN.com’s full lifecycle, ensuring a seamless design and user experience. I was also responsible for advertising integration into PathConnect Beta 2.0, Skispace.com, and MTDN.com, effectively enhancing monetization opportunities across platforms. Additionally, I led the branding efforts for PathConnect, LLC, solidifying its identity in the market. In my leadership role, I managed the design department and coordinated an extensive QA team, ensuring top-quality output.
