I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Regional Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and bring over 30 years of expertise in GIS and planning. Since 1995, I have been a key member of the North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (NCWRPC), where I developed and continue to maintain the organization's GIS program. My role has involved extensive collaboration with various forms of local government, providing valuable support across a diverse range of projects. At NCWRPC, I played a pivotal role in founding the North East Public Safety Communication (NEWCOM) group. NEWCOM was established to address communication needs within a 16-county region in northeastern Wisconsin. Its mission is to create a reliable and responsive communications link among all emergency services and public safety agencies in the participating counties. Additionally, I serve as the Regional SCIP Implementation Coordinator for Northeast Wisconsin. The Regional SCIP Councils focus on ensuring that interoperability implementations address local concerns and unique regional circumstances while aligning with the Statewide Communications Interoperability Plan (SCIP) strategies and tactics.I also founded the Wisconsin Regional Orthoimagery Consortium (WROC), which has acquired over 150,000 square miles of imagery over the last three decades. The consortium's goal is to build and sustain a multi-participant program to acquire digital orthoimagery and elevation data throughout Wisconsin. WROC offers numerous advantages to participants, such as cost-effectiveness, support for specifications and standards, provision of customized datasets, facilitation of data sharing among members and partners, and assistance in procurement processes.I earned the Certified GIS Professional (GISP) designation in 2004. My specialties include GIS and database creation, with a strong commitment to collaborating with local entities to find cost-effective solutions. From 2020 to 2025, I served on the State 911 Subcommittee, where I helped facilitate the optimal use of grant funding to provide accurate, mission-critical GIS data layers to support Next Generation 911 (NG9-1-1) call routing.Specialties: GIS and database creation, collaborating with local entities to find low-cost solutions.
