I was elected Assistant General Secretary (2007-08) and Vice President (2008-10) of BESU students SFI union. During my tenure I upgraded the infrastructure of Gym, Hospital and Hostels. I lead the students to reduce the rising tuition fees of UG students. I observed the reality of our country where thousands die of anaemia and thalassaemia that’s inspired me to organize several blood donation camps at university campus. I voluntaired to organize 15th National science congress in March, 2008 in BESU campus. I was also elected Hostel Representative (JMCR) of Hostel-8 in 2006-07 session. During my time i actively participated with hostel superintdent to run hostel smoothly.
