Knowing thecolossal cost of a line-down situation at a major automotive manufacturer, I made the long driveto the customer immediately, evaluated the issue, coordinated quarantine activities, thendirectly developed and implemented a rework process to keep customer production going,avoiding a massive cost to the company in chargebacks.- Contributing to DoE's to resolve high profile frequent field failures with a major impact to thebottom line.- Other responsibilities such as: - Leading and facilitating an innumerable amount of MRB’s. - Diagnosing and repairing critical issues with in-line gauges, avoiding great cost in downtime and service calls. - Reporting KPIs, improvements, cost-reductions, and general action plans for my product lines to Plant Operating Committees (POC).
