• Learned about Shipbuilding standards and procedures, as well as shipboard electrical systems.• Examined multiple Single Line Diagrams and shipboard equipment and features.• Studied shipboard power generation, distribution, and cable penetrations.• Conducted an onsite visit of the Milgem-283 battleship under-construction, overseeing the electrical infrastructure and hydraulic equipment and the Machine Control Room (MCR).• Received thorough instructions on the operation of single and three-phase induction motors, observing them in action.• Visited substation-1 to observe HV and LV operating panels.• Observed a metering cubical panel that encloses a power transformer separate from the panel consisting of current transformers and vacuum circuit breakers.• Examined the LV side panel, which operated transformers and air circuit breakers, and observed a capacitor bank maintaining the power factor above 0.98.
