As the Vice Head of the External Affairs department at Himpunan Mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ITS (HMSI ITS), I am responsible in managing, monitoring, and supervising the work of the staff, mainly in the internationalization affairs.

ITS Global Engagement is a directorate that is responsible for managing ITS’ cooperation and foreign relations. ITS GE hosts programs at international scale with global participants and provides them hospitality during their stay in Indonesia. ITS GE also focuses on internationalization for the local ITS Students, by preparing them to have global competence, motivating and facilitating them to study abroad. To work towards their objectives, ITS GE involves student volunteers to work directly under the office’s management. As the Coordinator of Volunteers in the Hospitality for International Students Division, I led the team of volunteers who assist ITS international students, by providing guidance, organizing events, and being their ‘buddies’. Roles and Achievements:- Led a team of 13 to welcome and provide hospitality for over 150 international students, helped them to adjust to life in Surabaya.- Supervised and conducted 6 events for ITS’ international students, responsible for managing and monitoring all aspects of the events.- Held the role of the main committee for 3 international short programs with participants from more than 10 different countries, involved in concepting and executing the programs.- Graduated from volunteering with a very good performance, evaluated by the ITS GE management.

Hospitality for International Students is a division of volunteers at ITS Global Engagement who is responsible in providing a “friendly face”, helping hands, and the first Indonesian friendship for new arrivals. This division has several roles, such as:- Being “Buddies” for each ITS International Student and assisting the beginning of university studies, everyday life, support, cultural guidance, and information about life at ITS- Conducting formal and informal events for ITS International Students

Himpunan Mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ITS is the student association of the Information Systems Department at ITS. This organization acts as a platform for the students to hone their soft skills, such as organizational, event management, teamwork, and managerial skills. HMSI ITS allows the students to have hands-on experience in running and managing an organization. As a staff of the External Affairs Department, I was responsible for promoting and raising awareness about the internationalization spirit among the students of the Information Systems Department at ITS.Role and activities:- Promoted the benefits of studying abroad and internationalization through social media posts.- Facilitated the students with important information regarding study abroad.- Encouraged the students to study abroad by regularly posting information about available study abroad programs for Information Systems students.- Became Master of Ceremony (MC) in 4 collaborative events between HMSI ITS and other student associations, improving my communication and public speaking skills.

Information Systems Expo (ISE!) 2023 is an IT-themed event held by the Information Systems Department of the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. It is the first event in Indonesia that combines the theme of business and technology, representing the professional field of information systems. This national-scale event is held annually, mainly aimed to introduce and promote the ITS Information Systems Department to the wider community. Additionally, this event is packed freshly and uniquely to educate about the importance of Information Technology. ISE! 2023 consists of 3 sub-events: BIONIX, RISE!, and ICON. BIONIX and RISE! are business case competitions for high school and undergraduate students from all over Indonesia, whereas ICON is an educational event talking about recent issues in the IT world. ISE! 2023 turned out to be a huge success, gaining over 3000 participants. As the Head of the Security and Admission Division, I contributed to this success by handling all of the administrative and security affairs, ensuring the events could be held smoothly and successfully.Roles and Activities:- Led and managed the workload of my team, consisting of 14 members, making sure that the team worked efficiently.- Bridged communication with other divisions, allowing smooth coordination and integration.

As a staff in Men's Futsal division at UKM Sepakbola ITS (ITS Football Community Club), I was in charge of the programs of UKM Sepakbola ITS in Men's Futsal Division, specifically the delegation affairs for the ITS Men's Futsal Team.
