I have worked in the Customer Service industry for over a decade, first as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble and then as a member of the Circulation department at the Westerville Public Library. I am a graduate of Kent State University's Master of Library and Information Science program, where I focused on public librarianship, and have also studied English literature, Greek and Roman classical literature, and philosophy. I believe strongly in the role of the public library as a force for good in the community, and strive to champion local libraries as an invaluable public resource.In my free time, I enjoy playing board games with my wife and friends, and am always excited to be able to teach someone a game they don't yet know. I also enjoys a good book, and am currently bouncing between contemporary Japanese authors and mid-70s French noir, primarily Manchette.
