Customer Fulfilment operates in 7 national fulfilment centres, 320 stores with 35K colleagues across operations and Head office. I Program manage the technology development for the portfolio of programs that will enable us to create a strategic and scalable fulfilment platform in Tesco supply chain landscape; maximizing the resource usage and increase the end to end fulfilment efficiency. Coordinating development across a number of back-end microservices that support our operational process by;- Translate long term business strategy into core capabilities and support product teams to articulate product vision - Roadmapping these capabilities and define the architecture the business will need to deliver against the long term goals- Annual and Quarterly release planning -Balance the business needs with technical constraints- Assess business impact/value, prioritize initiatives and quickly react to a fast-paced, dynamic environment- Requirement gathering & coordination of cross- product definition of user stories against project feature deliverables-Identify and manage upstream, downstream and external dependencies- Proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve cross-team issues- Balance and refine the relevant backlogs ensuring that relevant technical and architectural enablers are prioritised to meet the delivery of business value.

Across this function I am responsible for the process and governance of end- to- end planning, for all projects; against the framework of the long term strategy. This involves developing project concepts, leading key projects to initiation, programme managing delivery and benefits realisation. • Operating according to our principle of ‘Safety first’• Creating a Centre of excellence for project management • Strategy development and definition of the Customer Fulfilment endstate goals & metrics targets • Requirement gathering, design sessions & concept design• Designed and implemented business case documentation with training to all project managers • Project business case development and prioritisation • Supporting project managers, project assurance & PRINCE/ AGILE/RIBA methodologies • Problem solving, issue and change, risk assessment/mitigation, escalation management• Stakeholder engagement - key interface between business and technology to translate our business requirements into product capabilities. Creation & opening of a R&D Centre of Excellence • Leading project teams to deliver project objectives• Writing capital proposals • Project planning & budget control & MS project• International travel and project management between the USA and the UK.• Reporting/ Communications via web communications, presentations, risk assessments. • Recruitment of new technical staff to work in the CoE• Procurement due-diligence over a £1M spend on scientific equipment • Process transfer analysis to ensure the material produced remained unchanged• Responsible for all New product introduction activities APQP (Advanced Product Quality Process) /ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) /PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), P/D FMEAs (design /process Failure Mode & effect analysis)• Reporting to NPI status to customers - internal and external. • Coordinating engineering and operations departments and develop and implement Manufacturing Plans

In December 2013 a fellow graduate and I founded; Morgan Ambassadors a school outreach programme. Now running nationally across 7 UK sites with 50 volunteers and external backing from IOM3, British Science Association & STEMNET. This programme allowed us to facilitate school trips to manufacturing plants, coursework project sponsorship so students had real industry examples and I was asked to speak on several occasions including to students at Ascot University.

2nd year on Morgan Advanced Materials Graduate Leadership Programme;In 2013 Morgan Crucible unified operations under the name Morgan Advanced Materials. Supported this programme as a strategy analyst feeding into the executive board. This role also involved reviewing and prioritising strategic capital proposals with a value >£1m by risk, ROI, timeline, and submission of recommendations to the board. Post this, the position moved to the Global fibre business this role provided key analysis for the development and execution of Morgan's £250M global high temperature insulating fibre business strategy. PMO of over 30 projects, in Asia, North America, Europe, South America.• Project concept and business analysis and project gate planning• Global Programme office monitoring & tracking:• Modelling and SQL data analysis• Project portfolio management • Business continuity planning• Market and internal business analysis• Reviewing of strategic capital proposals• Financial planning and Management, P&L & budget review• Remote global working/communication and international travel

Project managed the introduction of a new quality control (SPC) system across a manufacturing site. Managing a team of 4 and training a workforce of 70. Delivered project which had 10 year history within and 12 month time scale. Responsibilities included removing historic system/ processes & implementing new quality control measures. This lead to improved quality visibility, data capturing & reduced scrapIn my first year at Morgan I have also conducted a marketing project and been involved in commercial initiatives. Along with another fellow graduate I set up Morgan's school outreach scheme Morgan Ambassadors.

Research project title: The investigation of the very earliest stages of Depleted uranium corrosion,• Trained and signed of as fully competent to use a scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffractometer, an atomic force microscopy • Modelling of data and results e.g. Rietveld analysis• Plan laboratory experiments and design testing methods • Interpretation of scientific data & results • Dissertation & report submissionKey achievements: After researching the technique used in polymers coatings, I conducted the first documented electrical characterisation AFM on UH3 this lead to a publication of this work in the Cambridge journals. Subsequently I won the prize for best presentation at the placement student’s final presentation’s conference. Represented AWE post-employment at the UNTF - won the prize for the best presentation. Presented for both scientific and managerial meetings & conferences; and at JOWOG international conference
