• Performed new product installations and on-site service on existing products domestically• Maintain, operate, and test various semiconductor plasma tools and supporting equipment - Etchers – RIE, ICP, DRIE, Ion Beam Etch - Deposition - PECVD, ALD, PVD, Ion Beam Dep - Brooks transfer handlers - Vacuum pumps (Oil and Dry) - Chiller units - Fault find Digital and Analog circuitry down to component level, RF circuitry, High Vacuum systems, and Motor/Drives used on the tools• Set up, program, and diagnose faults on PLC control system (B&R Automation PLCs)• Process optimization and qualification - ensuring all processes are within the tool’s specification• Provided customer training in preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on equipment• Liaison with the Sales and Marketing team to provide customer feedback and opportunities. • Test and commissioning of new equipment including operation, maintenance and training leading to system acceptance at customer sites. • Maintain system records, warranty info, parts supplied and service contracts. • Work independently within a team of engineers.

- Set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform functional flight tests of electrical and electronic systems. - Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, or voltmeters. - Keep records of maintenance and repair work. - Coordinate work with that of engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel. - Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems. - Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, or soldering irons. - Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools or soldering irons. - Assemble components such as switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes, using hand tools or soldering irons. - Fabricate parts and test aids as required.
