Hello! I am a recent MSW graduate looking for hours towards my licensure. I have experience as a therapist and case manager working with those experiencing homelessness, a crisis line operator and trainer working in suicide prevention, an instructor helping children with moderate-to-severe autism, and an EMT. I am fluent in English and Portuguese, and am improving my Spanish every day (currently at an intermediate skill level). I have trained in CBT, DBT, and MI therapeutic modalities, and continue to expand my skill set through accredited CEU programs in the area and online. I am looking for a position that will provide opportunities for further skill development through clinical hours towards my licensure, and a similarly dedicated supervisor from whom I can draw expertise and guidance as I navigate this field. I am primarily interested in positions as a therapist, medical social worker (hospital or hospice/palliative), or school counselor in the Santa Cruz or Silicon Valley areas.
