To seek and operationalize grant opportunities, strategic partnerships, and social policy initiatives that move 6,000 plus residents in 10 affordable housing communities nationwide closer to their self-identified aspirations. Neighborhood Associates Corporation is a 501(c)(3) in affiliation with housing developer, Telesis, and property management group, Neighborhood Partners LLC. My current portfolio of initiatives includes neighborhood resilience, developing a think tank, two-generation programs, and financial literacy programs.

Providing data and research to 10 allied affordable housing communities and liaising with resident coordinators to develop new programs that amplify resident voice.

• Developed and managed a statewide network of AmeriCorps service members serving in 18 city-wide coalitions addressing issues of college access, youth development, and health in underserved NJ cities.• Created the program management framework, strategy, communication channels, and performance measurement system for coordinating, tracking, and reporting on 20 distinct VISTA projects and their community outcomes.• Managed $350,000 federal grant from the Corporation for National Community Service, including compliance and reporting.• Co-created and led a training curriculum focussed on collaborative problem-solving skills, including systems mapping, project management, cultural competency, networking, public presentation, and using social media for social change.• Strengthened partnerships with 7 NJ colleges and universities, and the NJ Office of the Attorney General.

• Developed and delivered year­long training and enrichment programming for 35 VISTA and AmeriCorps members. • Designed project management and reporting system for all NJ Bonner VISTA Fellows Service Sites.• Led 18 VISTA members in navigating Corporation for National Community Service terms, conditions, and benefits.• Connected VISTA members to resources that advance their projects ­ nonprofit, public, and higher education.

• Analysed needs assessment responses from 23 NJ nonprofit partners of colleges to derive capacity building priorities.• Supported 7 VISTA fellows broker community based research/capacity building internships and academic classes.• Revised and implemented Foundation’s PolicyOptions.org guidelines for posting issue briefs and news items.

•Monitored legislative activity to convey bill status, content, impact, and likelihood of passage to constituents.•Analysed issues, including increasing low income savings rates and micro-lending to underserved entrepreneurs.•Drafted memos regarding bills, policies, and treaties under tight deadlines using research sources including CRS.•Promoted Member’s message when composing commendations, greetings, and written/verbal constituent responses. •Informed constituents on the Member’s work including student loan forgiveness, jobs, and the environment.•Co-wrote Member’s letters of support for constituents applying for grants, employment, and higher education.•Implemented best practices in response to constituent letters, emails, and faxes utilizing iConstituent CRM software.

•Maintained strategic relationships with leaders of political, religious, labor, and non-profit organizations as the candidate’s primary political operative in Hamtramck, MI.•Briefed the candidate on cultural nuances when communicating with diverse South Asian and Muslim communities.•Managed field assets to provide strong campaign presence at polling locations in Hamtramck, MI.•Wrote call scripts and implemented phone banking, volunteer training/recruitment, and canvassing initiatives.

•Designed, contributed, and administered the email distribution list for the Member’s quarterly newsletter.•Created training tools for interns to best utilize their skills and Congressional resources to support staff.•Researched and edited press releases, social media posts, memos, and constituent correspondence.•Monitored Dear Colleague letters, bills, and briefings to recommend opportunities to promote the Member’s goals.

•Developed a Drupal based Member website with CAO Web Solutions and updated the site with video content.•Served as the office email and website administrator, and liaison for the CAO, House Telecom, TSR, and vendors.•Provided MRA saving recommendations for purchases from House authorized third party vendors. •Built relations with House administrative departments accelerating full office operational set up within two months.

•Assisted in keeping donations FEC compliant, updated donor data base, and served as candidate’s body person.

•Created memos identifying funding sources for NJ municipal governments seeking to increase green buildings.

•Lead a team of sixty faculty and staff to tailor Kaplan resources for students’ individual school application goals.•Renegotiated classroom rental contracts and reduced inventory costs effectively saving $7,000 per quarter.•Coordinated with national operations to increase clientele retention, customer advocacy, and student relations.
