From my childhood I used to say that I want to find a cure for AIDS and cancer, and sometimes to be an ‎air hostess to cross the countries back and forth.‎I loved expressing myself, that's how I grew up loving the life sciences and writing at the same time‏.‏I graduated with a B.Sc. in life sciences and I was eager to continue my study, so I chose the path of ‎biotechnology, which is the future of science, and I specialized in bioinformatics. My project specialization ‎at the university was about looking for genes included in flavonoids production pathway in the hawthorn plant and some of ‎other Rosaceae family members by both of laboratory and computerized methods‏.‏I worked in my life in several fields; I started with training for many months at medical labs in several ‎places, then I worked in auditing the patent bank informations at AGIP. At that time, I got the opportunity ‎to participate in Elsevier Ebook and wrote a chapter named by (Proanthocyanidin: Chemistry and ‎Biology: From Phenolic Compounds to Proanthocyanidins), and I got another opportunity to write scientific ‎articles in an Emirati magazine belongs to Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah and other topics in ‎Mawdoo3.com as a freelance writer. ‎Finally I worked as a journalist in an Emirati magazine in al ain, writing social journalistic reports and ‎conducting interviews with distinguished community figures‏.‏After that, I decided to start a blog named by “Afnan Magazine”, which would highlight prominent ‎personalities, present reviews in useful films and series, in addition to various articles, to be my free ‎platform to benefit others. I've learned many things for my blogger like; designing blog’s interface, SEO, and ‎archiving the content and how to market it. ‎I learned from the diversity of work fields; working in various environments, and how I can succeed in ‎something I didn’t study it before. Besides the fact that all those seemingly different fields have many ‎common points benefits each other, the science doesn’t stop at a certain point and should be followed up ‎daily, and the fact that the science and writing are two sides of the same coin.‎
