I'm a supply chain professional with 10 years' experience in buying, planning, engineering change management, logistics and inventory analysis. I've worked for several years in both electronics manufacturing and in the Solar industry. I'm enthusiastic about learning anything new and love to put my skills into practice, teaching what I've learned to others.I'm proficient in SAP and Matrix and well-versed in ISO 9001 and 14001 principles. Having completed two Six Sigma Green Belt projects, and many Kaizen and Transactional Process Improvement (TPI) events, I'm a strong believer in the principles of Lean. I enjoy working with global teams, including customers and suppliers from all over the world. I'm great at coordinating events, such as a "Lunch and Learn" on the future of Solar, multiple fundraisers for the United Way and volunteer days for The Salvation Army's Toy Mountain and Corps 614's food bank and free café.On a personal note, I am passionate about travel and photography. It's amazing to meet people from different walks of life, to experience their cultures, to learn their languages and to photograph all of it! Being Canadian, I have a special affection for Canada. It's one of my goals to find and share all of the hidden treasures this beautiful country has to offer.
