I am currently working at the Monetary Policy’s Office. My duties comprise: providing technical advice to the Deputy Governor of MP and the Chief of Staff.I am a member of a technical team which has a key role in the monetary policy formulation process. Moreover, the Monetary Policy’s Office has the sole responsibility to conduct its implementation by managing the employment of monetary policy instruments and other mechanisms under our supervision, following the evolution of monetary aggregates in the country, acting also in the direction of adjustment of monetary liquidity in order to comply with the approved policy target. Accordingly, we are also responsible for the achievement of price stability, establishing also criteria for purchases and sales of financial assets, gold and foreign currencies, within domestic and international markets, by the Central Bank of Brazil.
