Work on business requirement definitions for a global Health Management Platform in Insurance Sector (Fidelidade)

Worked on definition of documentation storage and workflow architecture, including key aspects as meta-information definition. The user access roles and permissions architecture (RBAC) was part of the analysis work due to the sensitive nature of the documentation as well as an approval workflow definition for certain document types. Technical project coordination: targeted at various age-segments of young readers, the first project included the creation of conceptual design for a public web platform presenting selected books and authors to readers and reading mediators (parents, teachers,library responsibles,…), including specific user roles dedicated to pedagogic experience sharing. Actively involved in a long term collaboration starting at the expansion phase of the company from 2 to 27 stores and lasting until the end of its business. Main responsabilities included the analysis and design of a software solution to integrate the workflow of weekly marketing campaign graphic artifacts into specific areas of an online product catalog powered by an SAP ERP system. Coordination of analysis and design phase of a multilingual collaboration and information platform for international accredited institutions use. Promoted by the ministers’ council presidency, the platform objective was sharing information on legislation and good practices on the domain of gender equality and gender violence prevention across european countries (ultimately helping cross-incorporating best practices on member states legislation).:::: Context skills: Front-end and BackOffice teams coordination; Waterfall to Agile/Scrum short cycle team adaptation ::::

Development of architecture for script-based software agents interacting with callback remote modems on radiation-sensor monitoring stations (early days IoT architecture). The project aimed at understand the long-term radiation emission levels by mobile network base-stations and was developed by a multidisciplinary group of external professionals and internal researchers lead by Prof. Luis Correia (Instituto de Telecomunicações, Lisbon). Analysis and design of a script based software solution with a web back-office interface to manage department resource distribution, namely module lectures distribution according to the docent personnel and the number of students. This body of information was stored on a multi-year basis and produce relevant KPIs both for internal and external reporting. Responsable for management of technical aspects related to SIM-card life cycle according to tender detail of telecom operators, both national and other portuguese speaking countries. Full cycle project of sample card software design specification, pre-production tests, factory quality tests and support to customer acceptance tests.

Consultant on the first group of professionals establishing a local branch of Altran group in Portugal (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altran#1990s – “[…] In 1998, Altran deployed a telecommunications network in Portugal.”). Technical activities included analysis,design and prototype phase of many software artifacts (database, front-end structures and Excel-VBA scripts) for the engineering team of a new born telecom operator (at the time named Optimus). Actively participated in field survey telecom activities for the radio planning department.
