Responsible for the reception of primary, elementary and high school's students from the region of Coimbra, explaining the history and courses of the Department of Physics

Teaching assistant in the curricular unit of "Electronics" and "Data Analysis in Physics Laboratory", giving two laboratory classes per week.

Physis is the Portuguese Association of Physics Students and represents all Physics, Engineering Physics and other related courses' students from all portuguese universities. Our major event is the National Meeting of Physics Students that has around 200 participations with important and famous lecturers from Portugal and all over the world.

Representative of all students from the faculty in the Pedagogical Council. Our main job is to ensure the proper regulations regarding pedagogical subjects.

In this 10 week internship, I worked with a segmented one-sided DLC coated GEM in a triple-GEM system to study the influence of the sectors orientation on optical signal distortion to compare the results with other sectorization patterns in non-DLC based GEMs. I also studied the emission profile of a single-hole GEM in a double and triple-GEM system. In the meantime I simulated the electric field along the holes of the DLC GEM using the software ANSYS. This work was supervised by Florian Brunbauer, Eraldo Oliveri, Leszek Ropelewski and Fabio Sauli.

Responsible for most of the activities of the new students’ reception and scientific outreach activities in high schools all over Portugal and other schools that visited the Department.
