Lead Technical Analyst on Assisted Checkouts/Self Checkouts (ACO) Programme.Working as the technical liaison for the implementation, 3rd level support and store development teams.Key responsibilities include:-Provide dedicated deployment and BAU support to business stakeholders.-Provide end to end solution delivery on business initiatives from conception to deployment. -Provide feedback and communication to the business stakeholders on the status of project deliverables.-Manage the relationship between the project, BAU support teams and external vendors.-Facilitate with business cases and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing project approach.-Oversee the ongoing ACO implementation and be the escalation point for critical ACO related issues.-Manage software upgrade and transitions to ensure seamless delivery and deployment.-Manage business initiatives, change of requirements and make recommendation on technical solutions.-Co-ordinate with vendors on work packages and implement changes as requested by the business.-Identify opportunity for continuous performance or process improvement from small details to big picture.-Manage incidents to resolution.-Manage software defects and assist with QA testing.-Provide feedback to UAT users and developers on build process and prototypes.-Provide network support for switch replacement and troubleshooting network devices.-Create and maintain scripts and documentation for the other internal BAU teams.-Be the subject matter expert and perform Third Level related tasks including Disaster Recovery, root cause investigation, adhoc scripting and dedicated 24/7 on call support to approximately 800 servers and 16,000 Point of Sale systems.

• Transitioning the applications and desktop environment to Windows 7.• Provide support to legacy system during the transition. • Debug and test the build process for the Point of Sales (POS) software.• Provide software deployment and upgrade for the Landmark Point of Sales systems.

• Provided dedicated support for legacy systems.• Provide support and resolution to the production issues and defects.• Prepare backups and perform disaster recovery with minimal disruption to the business stakeholders.

Responsibilities included:-Provide dedicated support for key project fund registry system upgrade.-Manage day to day operation with Stock Exchange and Mortgage systems.-Production defect investigation and management between vendor and investment unit.-Provide monitoring scripts and reports through SQL Server Reporting Services.-Responsible for migrating documentation and packages to new SharePoint server.-Facilitate business stakeholders to define user requirements and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities included:-System/Hardware diagnostic and troubleshooting.-Develop and deliver tools and scripts for other IT support teams.-Managing system upgrades and migration.-Provide 24/7 technical support (on call).-Debugging, troubleshooting and in-depth investigation for software defect management.-Analyse and mapping business requirements to In-Store Ticket printing technical solution for system enhancement by business requests.-Provide an escalation point and central point of contact between business managers, software vendors and various IT teams.-Author adhoc queries to produce reports from store databases to service time-critical business requests.-Identify potential system enhancement/bugs and provide suggestions and solutions to improve business process.
