• Assumes responsibility for all inspection related activities in the assigned area or the branch of inspection function. Guides and directs Unit Inspectors in all aspects of their inspection engineering duties. Prepares overall and comprehensive inspection reports. • Assumes responsibility to organize computerizing of all inspection records and to issue Equipment Inspection Schedules (EIS) and T/A Work lists for the units in the assigned area. • Coordinates and acts accordingly in liaison with Operations, Maintenance and Process Groups to ensure timely equipment inspections are planned, executed and proper repairs are effected. • Reduce frequent Breakdown by proper Preventive Maintenance.• Supervises day-to-day activities and performance of assigned personnel to maintain appropriate task assignments and workloads while meeting production goals and safety requirements.• Managing on site the maintenance team and the third party sub-contractors ensuring they complete task on time and safely to required standards.• Supervise the activities of the assigned mechanical maintenance crew in the field, give the technical direction and guidance for safe trouble shooting and repair jobs.• Liaises with stores section to ensure availability and delivery of required spare parts, tools, materials and equipment.• Maintains records of planned and completed maintenance.• Maintain Equipment documentation, drawings and records according to ISO standards.• Assists in generating / reviewing mechanical maintenance procedures and ensures that they are aligned to the approved engineering codes / standards.• Maintain safety and security of the plant personnel and equipment• Performs Alignment of belts using SKF Belt Alignment Tool.• Vibration Analysis: Performs Vibration measurement and Analysis on all rotating Equipments.• Performs related duties assigned.

 Planning and monitoring the work within the workshop. Responsible for the product quality control for the plant.  Maintain a clean and safe plant. Monitor all NDT activities on the project. Control all documentation upon the completion of the project. Elaborating inspection and test programs. Reviewing the inspection and testing methods and procedures for Radiographic, Dye-penetrant, Magnetic particle, and Ultrasonic inspections. Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.
