Domestic payments support team responsible for all Corporate and Retail related domestic payment work like Direct Debit, Standing order, cheque and customer related queries. Support team responsible/on-call for all batch cycles (Mainframe and Micro focus/Linux), bug fix, small change, ad-hoc work and automations.

PolicyLink is a life insurance admin processing system developed by DXC. This project has been pending for a long time but has a problem in PolicyLink system that we are supposed to fix in 2 Years. All the problems recur during the migration from old system (Mainframe) to Linux (Micro Focus Cobol).

XMITIP Tool Decommission:XMITIP tools being use to send mail from Mainframe with attachment. This is paid tool and managed my vender. I have done Analysis and development in-house tool to replace XMITIP. • Analyzed existing mailing step present in JOB/PROC with any support about XMITIP product.• Done all requirement gathering to develop in-house product WBMIMAIL• Testing done with exiting PROC and JCLs.• New Tool WBMIMAIL installation done in QA and production.MAXREXX Tool Decommission:Since REXX do not have the capability to read VSAM file and DB2, MAXREXX tool is used to connect DB2 and VSAM from REXX. Applied required changes in all REXX tools to run without MAXREXX. MAXREXX is a paid tool from CA and it’s quite expensive for the customer. After this modification MAXREXX license not required.• Analyzed existing all REXX tools like ISUB(Version controller) and other in-hours tools• Done all required code changes and testing • Changed scripts installed in PROD and its working fine without any bugs.Mainframe to SSIS Migration:After HIT migration failure, I have purposed solution to get it done at mainframe side and ftp file to SSIS. By this approach, we have done with this project without HIT tool.• Prepared High and Low level designs• Involved in preparation of Effort estimation for the activity based on the requirement and design document• Done POC for all challenge• Worked on Microsoft SQL server to migrate data from Mainframe to SQL Server.\This project is for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans that is one of the major financial services organizations in Northern America, offering its customers a range of quality products and services.
