I am currently a Senior Policy Advisor in the Prudential Regulation department, focusing mainly on Solvency II, Insurance Capital Standards and (Solvency II) sustainability and sustainable finance related topics. Prior to my current position, I spent 12 years at NN Insurance (previously ING), where I worked as a Reporting and Valuation Actuary and later as a Product Development Actuary. During this time, I gained a broad range of experience in areas such as MCEV, MCVNB, EC/ALM, Reserve Adequacy, and product development, with a particular focus on variable annuities, branch 21, and branch 23.My role in the Risk Management Life department at NN Insurance allowed me to further develop both my technical and commercial skills. Additionally, I had the opportunity to gain international experience during my three years working in various departments across The Netherlands, including group level risk management, Central Europe, and Insurance and Risk Management Benelux. Through these experiences, I have built a strong international network and had the pleasure of meeting many inspiring and interesting people.
