Malakand Region

As Malakand Program Officer I was responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all the program related activities of ED-LINKS in Malakand. Coordinated and ensured the integration of field activities in close collaboration with Malakand Directorate and Education Officers. Created linkages and coordination with other education/community development related initiatives/activities taking place in Malakand by other development actors/NGOs. Assisted Regional Director Malakand in planning and budgeting of all activities.Worked as a liaison officer and closely work with Malakand Directorate and attend meetings. Prepared comprehensive monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the donor agency. Regularly visited to all Agencies and meetings with the locals. Interacted with girls’ students and their mothers all over Malakand to promote women education and gender equality.Achievement:Received Shield of high achievement for completing the Malakand Project successfully.

My duties as community mobilizer in District Swat .Mobilizing communities for the prioritizing of recovery activities and strategies.Facilitating the capacity building and setup of representative community committees (steering committees).Identifying unskilled and skilled Cash for Work beneficiaries in close cooperation with the steering committee.
