Responsibilities :- Supplier Development: Identifying and onboarding new suppliers for New Product Development (NPD) projects.Quality Control: Overseeing the overall quality control (QC) globally and domestic that processes for products manufactured in India.Assembly Management: Coordinating the assembly of products and sub-assemblies for both domestic and international markets.Global Coordination: Ensuring that Indian sub-assemblies meet quality standards for delivery to the Tensator USA and UK offices.Methodologies Used :- Supplier Quality Management: Implementing strategies to ensure that suppliers meet quality standards.QC Tools: Utilizing various quality control tools ( 7QC tool / COPQ / 8D / Zero PPM / Supplier Audits / Why-Why Analysis ) to monitor and improve product quality.Supplier Audits: Conducting regular audits to assess supplier capabilities and compliance with quality standards.Supplier Assessment: Evaluating suppliers based on their performance and quality metrics.Zero PPM (Parts Per Million): Striving for zero defects in products to enhance customer satisfaction.Kaizen: Applying continuous improvement principles to enhance processes and reduce waste.ImpactGlobal Reach: Tensator group supporting supply chain that serves over 150 customers worldwide.Efficiency: Ensuring smooth inbound and outbound procurement processes.Quality Assurance: Maintaining high standards of quality for both domestic and international products.To complete the work in the best possible standard manner it is necessary to have a complete timeline with supplier development and improving supplier day by day using different methods such supplier audits / supplier development/ supplier training / supplier assessment / supplier ratings.
