I am currently a Specialist and attached to the 1-189th Aviation Battalion in Helena, Montana. As a Combat Medic I’m responsible for the health and well-being of each soldier in my battalion. I treat injuries and illnesses to the best of my ability and training. This includes splinting broken bones, cleaning abrasions, packing or dressing open wounds, pushing IV fluids, monitoring patients, etc. When needed, I transport patients to higher care.I regularly assist our Flight Doctor, Colonel Johnson, and Physician Assistant, Major Dams, with Flight Physical exams which consist of the following: ECGs, vision tests, checking vitals, simple tests for cerebellum functionality, range of motion, physical exams, checking PERRLA, and much more.My NREMT License and BLS Card are both current, I last completed recertification in FEB2023. I will be recertified no later than MAR2024.

I was a member of the Cardiac Interventional Team. I roomed patients, collected all pertinent information, entered updates, and reported to the providers. Between patients I would do all of the following:• Enter and queue patient prescription refill requests.• Created and monitored RN "Remind Me’s" for each patient.• Ordered labs and EKGs where appropriate.• Abstracted and scanned test results from external facilities.• Called patients to relay scheduled reminders, gather symptom updates, record blood pressure logs, relayed results and any physician recommendations or instructions.• Cleaned the exam rooms after each patient and restocked room supplies at the end of each day.• Drew blood, completed EKGs, and took orthostatic vitals when needed or requested by my providers.As part of our team's duties I audited station supplies at the end of each week (rotating monthly with the other teams) and ordered supplies when appropriate.

I greeted all customers and their dogs, checked them in, double checked their information, answered all questions, scheduled showings for potential customers and gave them a tour of the facilities. I provided care for all dogs that came in for boarding or daycare including feeding, medicating, exercising, and cleaning up after each of them. When a boarding dog went home, I disinfected and cleaned the kennel they stayed in to prevent any outbreaks among the dogs. I monitored the playgroups of all dogs; when there were any dog fights, I and the other employees broke up the fight – physically if needed. When all pet care was completed, I cleaned all of the facilities used that day and I disinfected areas that customers had used and been to including door knobs, doors, gates, counters, checkout and payment area, etc.

I prepared and delivered orders for automotive businesses in and out of Billings, MT. On average, I would complete 15 in town and 6 out of town deliveries before the end of the business day. I also assisted with preparing in state transfers and out of state orders. I carried and delivered a variety of automotive parts ranging from light bulbs, car batteries, oils, brakes, rotors, washer fluid in 55-gallon tubs and 1-gallon bottles, etc. I also kept the warehouse clean, my delivery vehicle clean, and all parts organized. I was responsible for putting new, transferred, and returned items away. Writing out and keeping track of returns was another one of my responsibilities.

I was selling Direct T.V. deals inside of Costco and Sam’s Club in Billings, MT. I memorized all the information for the deal that we were currently selling and what our competitors offered. I explained everything about the current offer to customers, answered questions, and helped them put in applications. I strived to save them as much money as possible by giving them all the facts and pro-tips that I had at my disposal. I also assisted current Direct T.V. customers by giving them tips on how to save money with their current contract or instructing them on how to fix issues with their service. I regularly helped customers find items in the store and look up answers to any questions that I didn’t already know.

Effective and timely communication with EMT/Security Officers when responding to Codes called (Code Blue for CPR, Code Greys for aggressive pts, Code Silver for aggressive individuals with a weapon, etc.), ensuring all parties are properly informed of the situation and any risks involved.

I’d gone to this theater growing up and loved working there. I covered so many shifts for others that I was making a ridiculous amount each month despite being paid minimum wage at the time.
