📚 Ottawa Public Library's mission is to inspire learning, spark curiosity, and connect people; I support OPL’s corporate communications, which includes media relations, social media, advertising, and internal communications. I collaborate with other teams to promote the Library's services or events, and coordinate with news outlets. I also develop communications plans, participate in art direction of marketing products, implement social media strategies, engage in UI/UX processes and support web publishing.

📈 Atlantic Publishers Marketing Association acts as a liaison with the literary, arts, and education communities. To help promote accessible eBooks and audiobooks libraries in Atlantic Canada through a pilot project, I provided support for social media content creation, digital marketing, drafting meeting minutes, French translations, and working alongside the project manager, consultants and creative director.

🎶 The Canadian Musicians Co-operative assists independent artists to build a sustainable self-directed artistic practice that allows them to continue to control their intellectual property, their image, and digital assets. I managed the daily intake of creative requests, and spearheaded a multi-faceted team of 40+ audio engineers, video producers, audiovisual technicians, photographers, copywriters, and graphic designers across Canada to produce several creative projects needing digital media, broadcasting or post-production support.

🎨 Workman Arts provides multi-disciplinary, professional art workshops for artists with lived experience of mental health and/or addictions issues. I developed an accessible and inclusive curriculum, for a 12-week online workshop, intended to provide participating artists with guidance and support to build their own professional freelance creative career.

🏛️ Canadian Museums Association (CMA) represents and serves as a voice for lobbying the best interests of 2,500+ museums, art galleries and its professionals within Canada and internationally for the advancement of the Canadian museum sector. I reviewed featured stories and the layout of 32-48 page bilingual, bimonthly magazines - assuring it was error free by the print deadlines. My role also involved drafting articles, reviewing translations, coaching journalism interns, creating or revising communication products such as e-newsletters and managing all aspects of multiple social media platforms from copywriting to designing branded graphics.

💡 Service Canada provides Canadians with a single point of access to a wide range of government services and benefits. My responsibility was to deliver accurate information about federal programs and services to customers, and complete the associated administrative tasks in either corresponding official language.

🌐 Distributel is an internet services provider for homes and businesses. To achieve sale goals, I pitched and sold service bundles, built relationships with customers, and answered any questions customers had about the telecommunications product with a smile that can be heard through the phone.

📢 Simon Pure Marketing is an agency focused on experiential and promotional marketing solutions. To amplify the public relations strategy, I participated in lobbying on behalf of nationwide organisations. I also participated in on-going promotions to increase brand awareness and boost sales on behalf of brands.

🌱 Scouts Canada is the country’s leading co-ed youth organization; youth leadership, STEM and community involvement are prominent part of its programming. At Scouts Canada, I had a 4-month internship in which I published my first news article (profile interviews for Scouts Week) in the Guelph Tribune newspaper. I partook in drafting or reviewing public relations materials, research activities, media monitoring and social media content creation for campaigns and lobbying events, as outlined by the public relations director. My internship was extended – I was offered an opportunity to initiate the creation of a confidential database, while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
