I was hired as one of only two HR representatives for an agency within the Interpublic Group of Companies (a Fortune 500 company): Rogers & Cowan (R&C). In January 2017, my responsibilities expanded by supporting FRUKT's domestic team. In August 2019, the agency announced the merge of R&C with another powerhouse PR agency: PMK*BNC. The agency has now been rebranded as Rogers & Cowan PMK (R&CPMK). Thus, for the last few months of my time with the agency, I was one of about six members offering support with the HR team.•Performed full-cycle recruiting for Rogers & Cowan's and FRUKT's communications and marketing positions including: editing job descriptions, posting positions on Taleo and other online resources, sourcing and interviewing candidates, initiating background checks, preparing offer letters and wage forms, and onboarding new hires•Managed the summer 2018 internship program for the agency to ensure memorable experience, which resulted in three out of four interns to receive full-time opportunities with the company post graduation•Conducted reference checks on potential new hires when needed•Maintained and create all hard copy employee files onsite•Worked alongside the VP of Human Resources to establish a new employee review process for both agencies•Reviewed and processed timesheets bi-weekly for around 30 overtime eligible employees and freelancers•Responded to questions from employees regarding benefits, payroll, and vacation•Worked closely with the CFO, VP of HR, and staff accountant to transition the company into an Unlimited Time Off (UTO) plan•Processed paperwork for data changes, promotions, and terminations•Updated organization charts for higher-level executives, including the Chairman of the Entertainment division
