With over 15 years of experience in neuroelectronic interfaces, Osh. is the founder, CEO, and CTO of Koniku, a full-stack "wetware" technology company that merges genetically modified living biological neurons/cells with silicon to create cyborgs that can sense, compute, and act in the real world. He is versed in designing DNA constructs, cell lines, firmware, and machine learning models for synthetic biology. He leads a multidisciplinary team of engineers, biologists, and neuroscientists. A strong background in robotics, physics, bioengineering, computational neuroscience, and AI, he has led several innovative projects in the industry and academia. He has developed an in vitro reflex arc for modeling implantable neural chips, built and customized two-photon microscopes for studying synaptic transmission in the mouse visual cortex.
