Delivering short lectures on European Digital Policy and Law in educational institutions such as the European Institute for Public Administration - Université de Lorraine.

Main responsibilities are policy development, co-ordination, monitoring and analysis. Current specific policy areas include "Towards a common European data space" of the Digital Single Market. Coordinating the policy on Business-to-Government Data Sharing for public interest purposes, the Expert Group on B2G data sharing and the adoption of the recommendations. Firm believer of data donation mechanisms (data altruism) for people to exercise their control over their data for research or the common good. Contributing to data spaces for smart cities, the common European health data space and the data space for public services. Supporting the development of data space for mobility, transport and cars.Specific tasks include synthesis and analysis, work with stakeholders, co-ordinating and supervising studies conducted by external contractors, organisation of events, and presentations to internal and external audiences.

Alberto Gago was in charge of developing and implementing the EU Health Policy Platform project. The EU Health Policy PlatformThe EU Health Policy Platform (https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/hpf/) is a new instrument built around a web-application to improve the communication of DG SANTE with its health stakeholders (NGOs, associations, health providers and industry) and to increase the efficiency of its Expert Groups with representatives from the Member States and stakeholder organisations. It was launched in April 2016.The Platform has three components: • an online platform to promote exchange and collaboration between networks with members from EU-Member States and stakeholder organisations, and also from other international organisations such as the WHO. Nine months after the launch of the instrument in April 2016, the Platform hosts almost 40 networks with more than 900 registered users.• regular meetings and a high-level conference every two years, and • a yearly EU Health Award for the best initiative on a health issue (Ebola in 2015; AMR in 2016). The concept is implemented in cycles of 6 months: in the meetings, stakeholders choose health topics on which to draft collaboratively a joint statement. The collaborative drafting occurs on the Web Platform. On the next meeting, six months later, they present their work, gather last contributions and present it to the European Commission. In this meeting, they choose the new topics for the next six months. The Web Platform also includes a space for collaborative work of Expert and Stakeholder groups of DG SANTE. This allows cross-fertilisation of work in the different policy areas. The project is steered by a Steering Committee that involves one representative from each unit of health directorates in DG SANTE.

Coordination and management of the prize team in collaboration with the 28 Representations of the European Commission in the Member States, SANCO 04 and under the supervision of an official-responsible SANCO C2.Together with the responsibilities of coordination, leadership and event organization, internal evaluations and contractual management of external promotion were carried out, under the supervision of a team leader, public servant.Promotion: It was carried out in the 28 Member States with the collaboration of the EC Representations and the DG SANCO communication unit and via the internal websites of the EC. Direct contact with journalists was established as well as with health ministry's representatives, WHO communications representatives and other stakeholders (i.e. NGOs, think tanks, press associations, schools of journalism). Also there was an extensive use of project website, Twitter, Facebook and other social media.National Juries: Coordination of the set-up of the 28 national juries in the collaboration with the Representations. Coordination of administrative tasks of formatting articles, drafting invitations and managing information and conclusions of the national juries.EU Jury: setting-up of the EU Jury, providing documents, adapting and organizing conclusions, drafting reports and establishing direct contact with hierarchy. Promotional actions of finalists carried out.Award ceremony: Organization of the award ceremony with the presence of the Commissioner for Health and Director General, in collaboration with 04 and SCIC. There were +/- 70 people invited together with a visit to the European Parliament. Coordination of products produced for the ceremony (i.e. trophies, booklet of the 2013 edition, posters, further promotion of finalists.). Contributing to the work of the SANCO C1 and C2 through the application of specific communication competences related to the "EU Health Prize for Journalists" project and EU-Health Portal, Newsletter and the Website for the Journalists Prize (various languages). Acquiring sound knowledge and practical experience of EU policies and missions, rules, procedures and activities of the Commission, especially in the area of Health Communication and Dissemination (including online dissemination). Contributing to the organization, participating in meetings at different levels and collaborating in organizational, information, documentation, administrative and logistical tasks of value for the units. Accustomed to working in a multicultural and multilingual environment with a focus on team work.

Fundación Seminario de Investigación para la Paz - Fundación SIPPR and Promotion tasks combined with IR research on different spheres of IR: Women's rights, Security, Peace, etc.Creating an online communications strategy for the think tank in order to increase the number of attendants to conferences, debates and other events organized. Creating ads for events and collaborating extensively in organizing them. Carrying out all tasks related to website management, blogging (fundacionsip.blogspot.com) and social networking such as updating and maintaining their Facebook and Twitter accounts (including evaluation tools). Finally, writing short articles on different topics such as women's rights in Egypt and foreign fighters in Syria: articles in www.seipaz.orgOngoing research on the creation of identities to legitimize the Chechen Wars by the Russian Federation regime.

This was an internship opportunity while I was studying in Pyatigorsk within the framework of a exchange programme. One of my responsabilities was teaching Spanish (grammar and conversational) to children in order to promote Spanish language in Pyatigorsk under the auspices of the Spanish Faculty of Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University (head of the department Mrs. Helena Prochenko). I also assisted with translations (working languages Russian/Spanish/English) and proofreadings in the Spanish Faculty.
