My career journey, which began as a Senior Section Engineer at Indian Railways, reflects a steadfast commitment to operational excellence and technological innovation in the rail industry.At Indian Railways, I successfully planned various pivotal p-way maintenance works, ensuring the best utilisation of manpower and machinery, and implemented cloud-based platforms to enhance operational efficiency and manage track renewals and maintenance records. Serving as a key participant in weekly punctuality and safety discussions, I played an integral role in fostering the division’s commitment to operational excellence and strategic problem resolution, guaranteeing the safe and efficient movement of rail traffic.In my current role at Network Rail, I am responsible for developing detailed, fully resourced, and optimised work plans for approval by Section Managers. Key duties include:Work Plan Production and Resource Optimisation: Planning and optimising all agreed work activities for the section.Safe System of Work Planning: Producing Safe System of Work plans and managing risks and hazards in track maintenance planning.Scheduling and Database Management: Accurately updating systems, databases, and records as required.Weekly Plan-Do-Review Meetings: Managing and participating in these critical review sessions.My proficiency in Python and Data Analysis allows me to apply analytical tools for strategic decision-making, significantly enhancing project efficiency and outcomes.
