Mr. Galvao is a Director of Céleres, a Brazil-based agribusiness consultancy that designs analysis and strategies to help in the planning and decision making process of its clients. He has been working in the field of agricultural sector analysis since 1996. He is based in Uberlândia, in the Triângulo Mineiro agricultural region of Brazil. His focus is the Brazilian market for Soybeans, Sugar, Corn, Cotton, Ethanol and farmland projects.Throughout this period, he has developed and coordinated several studies related to economic and sector analysis of the Brazilian Soybeans Complex. He has also had a major role in the area of risk management based on the futures market of Brazilâs Mercantile and Futures Exchange, local acronym BM&F, and Chicago Board of Trade. Previously he implemented and coordinated the agricultural consulting department of FNP Consultoria & Comercio of Sâo Paulo (recently incorporated by Informa PLC). He is a Member of the Council for Biotechnology Information - Brazil. He is a board member of ISAAA International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications,working in the area of biotechnology.
