Annette Andrews has lived and work experience across 35 primarily majority world countries, engaging through an inclusive lens of a rights holder on grassroots justice, Indigenous self-determination and the protection needs of refugees and IDPs. She holds a Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics (UK) and an MA with Distinction in Forced Migration and Refugee Protection from the University of London (UK). She is a member of Editors Canada and Women in Refugee Law (WiRL) and is a Commissioning Editor for Researching Internal Displacement (RID) in the UK. In her role as Communications Manager at the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) government in Canada, she guides strategic communications, championing accessible, equitable and inclusive engagement.
