This company has been in business for over 30 years and needed a move into current inventory practices when I came on board.Responsible for all full physical inventories (with overall shrinkage below 1%) including scheduling and reconciliation. Oversee all functions of the warehouse from distribution to returns to vendor, all material transportation and all receiving functions.Developed and implemented an accurate inventory system with new sku's based on color/size, all receiving procedures, all purchase order procedures, all inventory procedures and fine tuning the returns department. Responsible for the overall inventory life cycle. Have managed up to 13 employees. Spearheaded the upgrade of our Inventory / Point of Sale system. Create queries, reports and whatever is needed.Loss Prevention responsibilities include camera surveillance upkeep & retrieval. Ordering equipment for new stores, requesting service on all other equipment. Filing of police reports, researching incidents, assisting police in gathering information. Research fraudulent credit cards and bad checks. Finding new ways to streamline the business, testing new software programs and writing documentation.
