As the Director of Veterans Programs and Memorial Affairs at the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA), I have the privilege and responsibility of overseeing state benefits and programs, homeless initiatives, and state veterans cemeteries for almost 300,000 veterans and their families.I am passionate about improving the quality of life and well-being of veterans and their dependents, especially those who are facing homelessness, disability, or mental health challenges. I leverage my skills and knowledge in organizational leadership, emergency management, and veterans law to collaborate with multiple levels of government, network with stakeholders, and solve issues creatively and effectively.
