Generation Climate Europe (GCE) is the largest coalition of youth-led networks at the European level on climate and environmental issues. GCE brings together 381 national organisations across 46 countries in Europe. GCE Member Networks are: AEGEE Europe, Young European Federalists (JEF) Europe, International Young Naturefriends (IYNF), Erasmus Student Network (ESN), European Students' Union (ESU), OBESSU and Fimcap. ---In January 2021, I transitioned into the role of Director, overseeing the formal registration of Generation Climate Europe (GCE) as a legal entity and managing its daily operations. This period marked a significant phase of growth for GCE, as I led efforts in refining our strategy, strengthening our partnerships, and scaling up our operations.In March 2022, following an organisational restructuring, my title was updated to President. While the title changed, my core responsibilities and leadership remained the same. I continued to lead the organisation’s strategy, partnerships, and operational growth, and remained the central figure driving GCE’s mission and impact.My responsibilities include:- Organisational and network development- Policy development and strategic influence, contributing to the development of GCE’s policy positions on climate and environmental issues and influencing EU-level policies- Day-to-day management of the organisation (200< volunteers)- Development and implementation of the strategic plan together with the Board- External representation and partnerships, including representing GCE in high-level discussions and strengthening partnerships with EU institutions- Financial oversight and resource mobilisation, including fundraising- Governance and legal compliance, overseeing adherence to legal statutes and ensuring the organisation's governance structures are effective and efficient

In October 2019, I joined Alex and Nathan in the initial stages of an idea that has become Generation Climate Europe (GCE). As a key builder of the organisation, I played a critical role in developing the strategy, establishing initial partnerships, and creating GCE’s digital and organisational presence.After Nathan and Alex departed in 2020, I stepped into the role of Director in January 2021, overseeing GCE’s formal registration as a legal entity and its ongoing operations. The process of GCE's legal registration as an AISBL took two years, given the Covid-19 pandemic and the Belgian administration.

SDG Watch Europe is an EU-level, cross-sectoral CSO alliance of NGOs from development, environment, social, human rights and other sectors. SDG Watch Europe aims to hold governments to account for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs).

V4SDG is the first non-profit organisation strengthening partnership and leadership for sustainability in the Visegrad Group (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary). It is a collective of young professionals building the infrastructure of cooperation for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) between the public sector, civil society, business and academia. V4SDG is a member of SDG Watch Europe.Main responsibilities include:- Youth advocacy work on SDGs at the UN and the EU level- Managing the International Affairs Team- Representing V4SDG in SDG Watch Europe- External partnerships on the European Green Deal and EU sustainability policies

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Every year TEDxMaastricht gathers over 1000 people. Main responsibilities included:- recruitment&training of a team of 60 volunteers- volunteers team management - co-organising the side events, such as the Pitch Night and Speakers Training- guest liaison- support of the logistics of the event (>1000 guests)- supervising the organisation of TEDxYouth@Maastricht (co-licensee of the event)

Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) is a platform of European youth organisations from 25 countries that aims to encourage youth to be involved in environmental protection and to provide a platform where these organisations can work together.I helped to organise the international training course “Create Your Grassroots” that took place from 1 – 7 July 2019 and was supported by the European Youth Foundation, Council of Europe and Erasmus+. I served a role of a training facilitator on a number of topics, such as volunteer enagagement, grassroots action strategy development and role of environmental NGO in supporting local initiatives.
