I am an expert Microsoft user and always give informal training on all their products, albeit non-related to my job, people often come to me for help. I am seen as an expert in systems (general) and people feel comfortable with the way I train and mentor them.That was just an aside as something that evolved, my function has always primarily been financial reporting and integration(implementation) and development of systems, both in financial (incl. Payroll/Human Resources) and logistical environments.My goals, long term, would include teaching, as it seems that I have a natural leaning towards that anyway. ************************************************************************************************Update: 27/10/2006My long term goal to teach has actually happened for me this year. Through good fortune I landed a part-time lecturing position at the Tshwane Univerity of Technology (TUT). It was a tough decision to give up my permanent position at BMW SA, as we all live in a little 'comfort zone'. I have been fortunate, however, as I have stayed on at BMW SA also on a part-time basis, which really gives me the best of both worlds.
