My parents Wilfred and Catherine Kappenman worked hard running a second generation midwestern farming operation. As my siblings and I worked in the business with them (and eventually our children, too) they not only taught us the value of hard work, they instilled upon us their expanded view of success. They did well financially, but they defined wealth as much more than money. I learned from an early age that wealth meant time with family, honoring our heritage and faith, making time for fun, contributing to our community, and so much more. These strong values have carried this family enterprise into it 4th generation today. That's why I decided to honor my parents and rename my business(es) after them: Will and Kate. Through decades of work with families, I have seen too many struggle to find ways to realize what decisions could serve all aspects of their wealth. Our team designs a plan and strategy to give individuals, families, business owners, and succeeding generations competence, confidence, and empowerment to stand on the shoulders of the generation before them.
