I manage the Fritz-Haber-Institute's public and press relations, social media channels and am also responsible for event management. A main focus of my work is science communication. Together with the physicists and chemists at the insititute, I inform both the scientific and the non-scientific community about the catalysis research undertaken at the Fritz-Haber-Institut and its potential benefits e.g. for the production of hydrogen, the reduction of CO2 and the production of useful chemicals from methane.

PhD Student at the Peter Szondi-Institute for Comparative Literature. My dissertation about the political implications of inactivity in 20th-century European literature (including French, German, Swiss and Polish novels) won the 2020 Dissertation Prize of the Kulturwissenschaftliche Gesellschaft. It was published with Transcript under the title "Nichtstun als politische Praxis. Literarische Reflexionen von Untätigkeit in der Moderne" (2021).

I taught two BA seminars in the module "Interdisciplinary Literary Studies". In the winter term I taught a seminar on the literary history and theory of inactive, idle and lazy protagonists in European literature and how to conceptualise their behavioural patterns considering their specific cultural, historic and aesthetic contexts. In the summer term I taught a seminar on the philosophy of history and its influence on 20th and 21st century literature.
