Responsible for developing and improving various core services such as trajectory generation/execution/control, control supervision, processing of AI generated information (such as optimizing pick points for pick and place and object disambiguation for sorting functionality). Also heavily involved in providing on-site support for customers with currently deployed systems. Generic tool development for diagnostics, visualization, and postprocessing of real-world data (used for generating AI training data as well as performance analytics).

• Developed extensive simulations for a 12-bit SAR ADC to improve linearity by over a factor of 10.• Designed essential blocks for Space System Manager chips (LX7730 and LX7720).• Performed in-lab evaluation and characterization of LX7730 chip after fabrication.• Optimized blocks to be radiation tolerant and function over a temperature range complying with U.S. military standards.• Developed thermal shutdown circuits, high speed gate drivers, under-voltage detectors, and level-shifters.• Created simulation test benches to verify functionality and improve block performance.• Prepared Design Engineer Evaluation reports, detailing evaluation and characterization results.

• Designed and conducted lab experiments to optimize femtosecond laser exposure parameters for device channel inscription in fused silica. • Characterized fabricated waveguides by butt-coupling to single mode fiber and recording transmission spectra on an optical spectrum analyzer.• Conducted tests to optimize spacing of laser-inscribed tracks to generate optically smooth microfluidic cavities.• Fabricated Fabry-Pérot interferometers in coreless fiber for stress and temperature sensing applications.

• Designed schematics for a two-layered, mixed-signal PCB for ASIC testing using Eagle PCB CAD software.• Implemented computer-to-PIC communication protocol through a Controller Area Network bus.• Coded a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) protocol for communication between a PIC and a custom-made integrated circuit.• Measured bit patterns at PIC output pins on a logic analyzer to confirm successful communication.
