Abbas Agbaje is an ESG and Impact professional with over 12 years of experience supporting the integration of environmental and social lens in investment advisory and operations for multimillion-dollar projects in West Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria). Previously, he worked as Vice-President, ESG and Social Impact at Kuramo Capital Limited, ESG and Social Impact Manager at InfraCredit, and Director/Senior ESG Consultant at EBS Advisory Services (now EY-Parthenon).He has strong technical expertise in providing advisory services (ESIA, ESDD, ESMS, E&S Audit) across industries such as agriculture, energy, FMCG, financial services, real estate, power, hospitality and tourism, and infrastructure. He has led ESMS design and implementation, training, and audit for financial institutions in Ghana and Nigeria, including Access Bank, NEXIM, Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) PFIs, Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Safetrust Mortgage Bank, ARM-Harith Infrastructure Fund, among others.Abbas has led various ESG engagements working with development partners such as AfDB, World Bank Group, BII, DEG, KfW, GuarantCo, InfraCo Africa, AFC, and others.
