Provide Financial Management with business process improvements and solutions, management reporting tools, in depth analysis of data not readily accessible. Communicate results of analysis and recommendations for improvements both verbally and written to all levels of management within and beyond the Finance area. Extensive use of Microsoft Access and Excel including programming in Visual Basic for Applications.•Analysis, Tracking and Reporting of Advances on Liquidated Loans (P187 Reporting) Developed applications to provide management reporting of open items including Advance Balances on loans at liquidation and Post-Liquidation Advances.•Corporate Advance and Escrow Disbursement and Advance Transactions Detail Developed applications to compile and determine offsetting transactions, and identify open items that total to the Advance balances for Liquidated Loans. Model could be used to determine the same for Delinquent Loans, and to assist in the determination of loss reserves for uncollectible advances.•Process Improvement Initiatives Servicing Accounts Payable – developed an application for reviewing Servicing Invoices to determine if they relate to Liquidated Loans (used by Corporate and Servicing AP). Distributed the application and trained users. Data Integrity Models – Developed applications to assure the flow of data between systems is complete and accurate (e.g. Ancillary Fee Transactions, Corporate Advance Transactions). Trained accounting staff to use and maintain applications. Prepaid Assets – Developed an application to store information related to prepaid assets and trained accountants to use the system. The application tracks, calculates and reports the acquisition, term, amortization, and retirement of assets.•Ad-hoc Reporting – Provided quick response to critically needed data by utilizing extracts from Datawatch to obtain loan level detail from the mortgage servicing system.

Subject matter expert and primary contact for PeopleSoft Payables, Fidelity Mortgage Servicing System, Bear Stearns general ledger transaction analysis, data management & mapping, IRS informational returns & related corporate policy.•Project Manager for review and analysis of firm practices related to disbursements and the Federal and state informational reporting returns and withholding of taxes related to those disbursements. Established new firm policies to ensure compliance with Federal and state regulations and reporting requirements thus reducing or eliminating $250-500K in IRS penalties.•Financial Project Manager for Federal Trade Commission Investigation into fees charged to mortgagors.
