I was fortunate enough to work with my father for 1.5 years in the residential remodeling industry. Not too many people can say they were so lucky. We shared the day to day responsibilities; from design and layout, to financial management. My father is still running the business.

I started this custom homebuilding company with a partner in 2002. I ran the day to day operations, while my partner was silent. We specialized in energy efficient products and methods; ICFS, SIPS, Icynene insulation, etc.This was a very difficult business to get into at such a young professional stage of my career. I learned valuable lessons about people and business that I will never forget.
