I am all about words and pictures. I'm also a digital production specialist and television commercial producer with a background in news who loves telling a good story. Sometimes that means article or script writing. Sometimes it's interviewing, or video editing (actually, it almost always means editing) or voicing a production. Whatever format the story is told in, I strongly believe it can and should be told digitally. That means producing online video content, it means infographics, web articles, it means interactive, it means news and it means TV commercials. Most of the clients I deal with on a daily basis aren't just paying for TV spots anymore. Even the smallest businesses are promoting their own commercials on social media and video platforms and getting great traction. I love helping people embrace digital content and learn about emerging platforms for digital content. My favourite accomplishment in the years I spent with News Limited as senior video producer/video journalist at The Courier-Mail wasn't any particular video or story, it was the opportunity to train my colleagues - journalists and photographers both - in digital storytelling.Above all else, I'm a producer of content, accustomed to rolling deadlines, multi-skilling, editorial decision-making and production schedules.
