General Manager, July 2012 – Aug. 2014111 year-old, member-owned club with over 250 members and food and beverage volume of just under $1 million. Facilities include a modern basin/marina with 86 dedicated slips and 9 transient slips. The grounds feature a swimming pool with separate children’s pool, two tennis courts, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court, outdoor dining pavilion and multiple picnicking areas. The main clubhouse features a members Captain’s Quarters that seats 70, a members bar area and banquet facilities for up to 225 people.

Ridgemont Country Club Rochester, New YorkGeneral Manager, Aug. 2011 - Present84 year-old, member-owned club with over 270 members (average age of 58), with food and beverage volume of over $1.2 million. Facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, Olympic-sized swimming pool with snack bar and fitness center. The dining facilities include multi-outlet a la carte dining in addition to banquet facilities accommodating up to 300 guests.  Responsible for overall management of all club activities to ensure and maintain the highest quality of products and services provided to the membership. Direct, administrate and execute the general club policies established by the board of directors. Plan, develop and approve operational policies, programs and procedures in accordance with the general policies.  Responsible for development of the operating and capital budgets. Monitor and analyze monthly financial results, including income and costs relative to goals. Implement corrective actions as needed. Develop, maintain and administer organizational plan. Initiate improvements as warranted.  Direct department heads to schedule and supervise all club employees, including policies concerning employee relations and personnel actions.  Prepare supporting documentation for monthly board of directors and Executive Committee meetings. Club facilities include an 18 hole, Donald Ross designed golf course, six tennis courts, swimming pool with a snack bar, on-course halfway House, paddle tennis, ice skating rink with a lodge, and a shooting range with lodge. The dining facilities include three separate a la carte dining venues and banquet space for up to 400 guests. There are also six guest rooms, including two suites, for overnight accommodations. Budget, profit and cost control responsibilities for all food and beverage facilities. Responsible for all aspects of food and beverage and clubhouse operations, including supervision over all dining and banquet facilities, bars and housekeeping maintenance managers, in-house laundry, guest rooms, and on-course hospitality outlets. Meet “Platinum Club” member service standards through development of excellent member relations and ensuring all staff members strive to exceed expectations.  Train, manage, and provide leadership for a supervisory/management team of four people to ensure both club and personal goals are met in a team environment. Ensure the smooth execution of both member functions and outside banquets. Work very closely with House Committee and Social Committee. Athletic facilities include 18 holes of golf; eight lighted clay tennis courts, two lighted grass courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and diving well, as well as in-season pool canteen. The dining facilities include a fine dining for adults, a family dining room, men’s grill and banquet space for up to 600 people.
