About Barbara D. Agerton, Cpa, Macc

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, I moved to Texas as soon as I could. I have an accounting degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master's degree in accountancy from the University of West Florida. I started a tax planning and preparation firm in 2005. We successfully transitioned to the cloud in 2013 so when the pandemic hit we were more than ready. In 2021 I successfully marketed and sold my practice. Now I have some free time and I'm looking forward to some fun. I currently live in Corpus Christi with my husband of 30 years. We bought a plane last year and I am learning to fly!
