In my current role, I am responsible for managing the QS Sustainability Rankings and maintaining the University Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. I also oversee the documentation for UI GreenMetrics Rankings, prepare comprehensive sustainability reports, and implement various sustainability initiatives at the university. My work encompasses all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) commitments, with a particular focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). This includes providing training to students, staff, and faculty members. Additionally, I maintain records of the university's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and am actively involved in grant writing and proposal development to support our sustainability goals.

In my professional capacity, I have conducted HSE audits and social and environmental compliance audits, including Oeko-Tex Standard 100, SA-8000, GOTS, and OCS. My responsibilities also include providing IEE/EIA consultation and overseeing the operations of wastewater treatment plants in factory settings. I have led 6S audits and delivered comprehensive training sessions for workers on HSE, the use of PPEs, fire drills, and first aid. Additionally, I have maintained compliance documentation for ISO, SA8000, SEDEX, and SMETA certifications, ensuring rigorous adherence to industry standards and regulations.

In my role, I oversee compliance matters in warehouses across multiple city locations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. I manage fire extinguisher cylinders, including refilling, monitoring expiry dates, and coordinating replacements as necessary. My responsibilities include preparing Corrective Action Reports, conducting regular fire drills, and performing environmental management audits at warehouses to assess emergency preparedness. I also provide HSE training to staff for effective emergency response. Additionally, I advocate for the adoption of green packaging and recycling initiatives within the fleet department to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.

In my role, I developed and maintained tree plantation plans in remote areas and managed complaints from local citizens regarding tree cutting and forest fires. I also created strategies to reduce the use of plastic bags in mountainous regions. My work involved a thorough understanding of federal and local environmental laws, and I leveraged my experience with ArcGIS software for detailed environmental analysis and planning.

In my role, I led a team of 20 society members to successfully execute provincial-level intra-university competitions in collaboration with the Department of Geography at FCCU. I organized university-level seminar talks on environmental conservation and water shortage issues, and managed educational tours to notable places such as Lahore Safe City Authority, Lahore Waste Management Company, Mitchell’s Fruit Factory, and Honda Company. Additionally, I coordinated international trips for students in their respective departments, leading two international tours. I also had the honor of presenting a lecture on environmental conservation at an international university in Istanbul, Turkey.
