My passion is to develop an innovative and site-specific platform for precision agriculture to optimize agricultural inputs using the power of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Inteligence (AI). I believe that site-specific management strategies would conserve and protect our valuable resources such as water and energy. Aghil studied Irrigation and Drainage engineering and has a Ph.D in Precision Irrigation from McGill University. When it comes to Precision Irrigation, Aghil's passion and experience in the area runs deep and he has a strong passion to bridge the gap between technology and irrigation. Aghil brings a diverse 15-year background in irrigation system design, precision irrigation, irrigation scheduling, soil moisture sensor development, site-specific management, variable-rate irrigation, management zone delineation, irrigation and fertilizer prescription maps, and climate control system. Aghil brings both a national and global experiences for the irrigation industry for supporting the innovation and site-specific management. His deep-rooted interest in precision irrigation and innovation has fueled his passion to collaborate as a consultant and board member with few innovative companies in agricultural, indoor farming, and landscape industries.
