• I worked under the guidance of my post-doctorate mentor Dr. Allen Xu and my PI Dr. Brett Helms.• Performing organic synthesis of cycloolefin crosslinkers, utilizing a variety of monomers and DCPD for polymer creation, while also reversing polymers to their original monomeric state to showcase their recyclability.

• Provided essential support and guidance to incoming transfer students, aiding their seamless integration into UC Berkeley's College of Chemistry.• Offered personalized mentoring on class selection, extracurricular involvement, and the pursuit of research, internship, and outreach opportunities.• Fostered a sense of belonging among transfer students, collaborated with the program team, and helped streamline their transition to the university environment.

Kitchen Manager for Oscar Wilde/Johnson-Rivera HouseMy responsibilities as Kitchen Manager are the following:• Facilitate a unit-wide discussion about food preferences, dietary restrictions, food allergies/intolerances, and political position regarding food sourcing.• Develop and maintain a system for receiving and responding to order requests made by members.• Continually monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures to ensure they are at appropriate temperatures as well as monitoring dish sanitizer chemical concentration to ensure it is within the acceptable range• Communicate with CFS regarding costing, pricing, or other budget related concerns.

Social Manager at Oscar Wilde/Johnson-Rivera HouseMy responsibilities in this role are the following: • Develop a social budget for eligible social event expenditures.• Provide leadership to ensure that all event themes are appropriate (with regard to safety, identity of others, etc.).• Develop a thorough understanding of the BSC Party Policy, advise council, and ensure that all planned events are in compliance with its guidelines.

• Tutored high school and community college students from low-income backgrounds.• Worked flexible hours; night, weekend, and holiday shifts.• All students experienced letter grade increase by the end of the term.
