As a Senior Software Engineer at Proofpoint, I work with backend technologies, to develop solutions that protect people and data from advanced threats and compliance risks. I have over 12 years of experience in software engineering, with six of them in the cybersecurity domain.I am passionate about learning new technologies and solving problems that matter. I have been learning Go as a potential tool for building scalable and reliable applications.I also helped establish the Irish Video Game Orchestra and work as its Operation Manager. This has involved regular strategic communications and planning, as well as collaboration with major video game studios. I regularly play double bass and arrange music for the group.
